Congrats to the new Exec Members for the 2009-2010 Year!!
We will be teaming up with the California Pizza Kitchen at South Point Mall on April 16th from 5-9 pm to help raise money for Millennium Promise. Bring a flier along to the restaurant to assure that 20% of proceeds are donated! (extras can be found on the hostess table!) Please come out and help support the cause! CPR TRAINING!
We will have CPR training on 4/21. Each class will cost $15 and last for 3-4 hours. If interested in signing up or for more information, contact Krupal Amin at kvamin@email.unc.edu !

The American Red Cross Club at UNC is comprised of seven committees: Biomedical, Health and Safety,Disaster Services, HIV/AIDS, Community Outreach, Marketing and Fundraising. General Interest Meetings are held throughout the semester and are a great way to learn more about the American Red Cross Club and its role at UNC and within the community.
Member Requirements
- A minimum of 5 volunteer service events per semester. These hours are exclusive of meetings.
- Completion of You're in Good Company Training Session.
- Serve on at least one committee (Marketing, Fundraising, Biomedical, Health and Safety, HIV/AIDS, Community Outreach).
- Attendance at weekly committee meetings missing no more than 4 meetings per semester.
- Attendance at General Body meetings.
- Completion of a Volunteer Application and Code of Conduct.
- Pay club dues of $10.00 per semester.
Fall 2008 Member of the Semester: Bobby Jungerwirth
Bobby showed great dedication as a member of the American Red Cross Club. He helped out with numerous events over the entire fall semester and went above and beyond what the standards of the UNC Red Cross Club are. He was recognized at the General Body meeting and we would like to thank Bobby for his dedication and commitment to caring! Thanks Bobby!
