For those of you who don't know, this is one even you won't wanna miss! Red Cross and Lambda Chi will
be hosting the 2nd Annual Dance Auction November 18th at The Library on Franklin Street. There will be specials throughout the night!

The next general body meeting will be November 20th in the Student Union. Once again it will be a fun meeting! Check your emails for further details within the next week!
Adult CPR Class 11/17
The next adult CPR Class will be help on November 17th at 5:30 in room 2518B of the Student Union. It is a $30 registration fee and there are still spots avaliable. Contact Krupal Amin for more information at kvamin@email.unc.edu
The American Red Cross Club at UNC is comprised of seven committees: Biomedical, Health and Safety, Disaster Services, HIV/AIDS, Community Outreach, Marketing and Fundraising. General Interest Meetings are held throughout the semester and are a great way to learn more about the American Red Cross Club and its role at UNC and within the community.
Member Requirements
- A minimum of 5 volunteer service events per semester. These hours are exclusive of meetings.
- Completion of You're in Good Company Training Session.
- Serve on at least one committee (Marketing, Fundraising, Biomedical, Health and Safety, HIV/AIDS, Community Outreach).
- Attendance at weekly committee meetings missing no more than 4 meetings per semester.
- Attendance at General Body meetings.
- Completion of a Volunteer Application and Code of Conduct.
- Pay club dues of $10.00 per semester.
Spring 2008 Member of the Semester: Tatiana Acosta
Tatiana showed great dedication as a member of the American Red Cross Club. She was nominated by Shirin Jafari-Namin (Community Outreach) based on her performance at the UNC Hospital Pediatric Playroom. Tatiana was recognized at the last General Body meeting of the semester by the Executive Board for her hard work.
